Events DCs Max Brown Appears on The Kojo Nnamdi Show to Discuss Future of Apple Partnership at Carnegie Library at Mt. Vernon Square
Events DC’s Chairman of the Board of Directors, Max Brown was a guest on The Kojo Nnamdi Show (WAMU 88.5) on December 12, 2016 to discuss the opportunity to evolve the historic Carnegie Library at Mt. Vernon Square by potentially leasing portions of the building for a Washington, DC Apple flagship location. The flagship location will serve as a catalyst for more job and educational opportunities and provide a place for people to gather – all while preserving its past and restoring the building for future enrichment. John Suau, Executive Director of the Historical Society of Washington, D.C., joined Brown on the show to discuss the benefits of co-locating with Apple inside Carnegie Library.
