Events DC Celebrates Opening of Shaw Neighborhood Businesses Connected to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center
What: Events DC, the official convention and sports authority for the District of Columbia will celebrate the opening of Shaw neighborhood businesses connected to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Mayor Muriel Bowser and Ward 2 Councilmember Jack Evans will join Events DC and retail tenants to highlight the arrival of these new establishments and the District’s vibrant tourism and economic development.
The initial tenants that are open for businesses include Top Chef finalist, Marjorie Meek- Bradley’s Smoked & Stacked, Composition ID, a health diagnostic center and Cuttin’ Up Barbershop. These businesses and future tenants will continue to bring highly anticipated economic activity and jobs to DC as well as amenities for residents.
