Events DC CFO Henry W. Mosley Receives Service Member Patriot Award

Events DC’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Henry W. Mosley was awarded the Patriot Award on August 1, 2016 by the U.S. Department of Defense and the National Guard for his exemplary work in support of military workers.

This award was given to Mr. Mosley on behalf of his role supervising Private First Class (PFC) Scoedean Bloomfield who is an Accounts Receivable technician in the Financial Management department at Events DC. Private First Class (PFC) Scoedean Bloomfield said, “Being a boss is not an easy job but being a good boss is even more difficult.  I work with an amazingly fair and supportive person who believes and is willing to get to know his employees and what they desire from their career.  Mr. Mosley actively encourages, motivates and offers assistance in aid to my personal growth.  He’s a team player and highly supportive of my decision to join the U.S. Armed Forces – and I am proud to have Mr. Mosley as my manager.”

The Patriot Award is given throughout the year at the recommendation of employees to supervisors and employers whose efforts were made to support the needs of those who serve in uniform for the U.S. through a wide-range of measures including flexible schedules, time off prior to and after deployment, caring for families, and granting leaves of absence if needed.
